Why your Frontier Command settlement keeps starving
Most people who struggle with Frontier Command aren't losing battles — they're losing because food isn't reaching the right buildings. The game quietly makes logistics the hardest part, and it's easy to miss until your settlers start complaining.
The trick is to think in loops, not lines. Place depots roughly halfway between your production and your population, and build roads before you build the shiny stuff. A short, well-connected settlement beats a sprawling one every time in the early game.
I also learned to stop overbuilding. Each new structure draws from the same supply pool, so expanding faster than your roads can handle is how you end up with half-starved workers and stalled production. Slow and tidy wins here.
Once you internalise that, the raids feel almost secondary. A well-supplied town can weather a lot, and you'll spend more time refining your network than scrambling to survive.
